Roberto Burle Marx - Hotel and Araxá Hot springs (Grande Hotel e Termas de Araxá), Araxá MG, Brazil

The landscape design of this Thermal Complex was Burle Marx first work in Minas Gerais state, and it is a precedent for his future work in Pampulha Complex, which you can visit in our next posts.

The modern building you can see in this picture was designed by Francisco Bolonha and is called Fonte Andrade Júnior, part of the Barreiro Complex. The building was designed in 1945 and completed in 1947
